SOCIAL CONCERNS COMMITTEE

MISSION STATEMENT: The Social Concerns Committee is comprised of individuals who attempt to live the Gospel message by assessing and addressing needs within our parish community, the greater Amarillo community as well as our global community.
   The Committee undertakes projects that encourage the participation of our St. Thomas parishioners.
    In addition, we attempt to create an awareness of social issues within the community, to educate parishioners on these issues and the Church’s teachings regarding them.

The Committee meets on the 2nd Monday of the month in the Parlor at 7:00 P.M. New members are ALWAYS welcome. 

The Social Concerns Committee will meet On Monday, November 9th. Please bring scissors -- it's Angel Tree ornament making night -- which means it is also Pizza Night.  Call by 10:00 AM, Monday morning to let us know if you're coming, so that we can order the right amount of pizza.  The office number is 358-2461, ext. 16.
