A native of Amarillo, Rita began working for St. Thomas as Parish Secretary in May, 2006.  She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1967 and went on to earn a B.S. in Secondary Education (Art/English) from West Texas State University in 1972.  She has one daughter, Laura, who also resides in Amarillo.
